Bravo Announces Summer Premiere Dates

Summer By Bravo heats up with season premieres of “Rocco’s Dinner Party, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and Million Dollar Decorators.

Bravo turns up the heat on its summer programming delivering a sizzling lineup of new and inventive competition and docu-series exploring food, design, music and pop culture. Adding to the network’s already robust original schedule, summer premieres include “Rocco”s Dinner Party, “Million Dollar Decorators, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey season three and “Platinum Hit.

The network’s watercooler hit, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey kicks off the summer lineup on Monday, May 16 at 9pm ET/PT with an extended 90-minute episode. Season three is all about family as Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo and her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita, all return and welcome new housewives Melissa Gorga, Teresa’s sister-in-law, and Kathy Wakile, Teresa’s first cousin. The drama picks up where last season left off when holidays are celebrated, children leave the nest and tensions run high between housewives.

Bravo gives viewers an unprecedented look into the exclusive and affluent world of high-end interior designers as “Million Dollar Decorators premieres on Tuesday, May 31 at 10pm ET/PT. The network’s latest docu-series explores the work and personal lives of Los Angeles-based interior decorators Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Kathryn Ireland, Jeffrey Alan Marks, Mary McDonald and Nathan Turner as fans get an all-access pass inside some of the most stunning homes in the world. From creating the perfect party for a photo shoot with premiere design magazine, ELLE DECOR, to decorating the Osbourne’s new Hollywood apartment, the cast navigates the high-pressured design industry for their wealthy, famous, and extremely demanding clients.

Join celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito Wednesday, June 15 at 11pm ET/PT for a taste of his exclusive New York City parties on “Rocco’s Dinner Party. This self-contained competition series gives three highly skilled chefs a shot at crafting the perfect evening for DiSpirito and his handpicked celebrity guests including Liza Minnelli, Padma Lakshmi, Raven Symone, Sandra Bernhard, and Bryan Batt, to name a few. Each week, three new chefs have one shot at impressing DiSpirito by cooking their signature dish. The two strongest will advance to the next round, where they are challenged to develop a full menu in competing dinner parties. Yet food is only half the battle. Allowed one consultation with Jes Gordan, celebrity event producer, the chef’s must also design a unique party concept, as decor and ambiance will be judged alongside their food. Each episode will have a theme for which the chef’s must base their meal and dining experience around. Which party will be a scrumptious soiree and which a flavorless fiasco? DiSpirito will decide. On June 22, the series will move to Wednesdays at 10 pm ET/PT for the remainder of the season. .

“Platinum Hit, the network’s new music competition series featuring Jewel and Kara DioGuardi, will premiere on Monday, May 30 at 10pm ET/PT. Twelve aspiring songwriters battle through a series of innovative challenges testing their creativity, patience and drive as this unique creative process is unveiled for the first time. To find out if they have what it takes, Keith Naftaly, SVP of A&R for RCA/Jive Label Group at Sony Music Entertainment, will be featured throughout the series to help judge the competition and some of the most influential musicians will serve as guest judges including Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield, Donna Summer, Jermaine Dupri, Taio Cruz, Ryan Tedder and Evan Bogart.
