In an effort to highlight the evolution of dining in Orange County, the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau (AOCVCB) is launching the OC Chefs Series, a chef-inspired video Web series, showcasing the diverse range of culinary options and talent that exists throughout this well-known Southern California destination. From favorite neighborhood eateries to extravagant five-star restaurants, the series will give viewers a look at what inspires the chefs to create innovative cuisine.

Premiering on the Anaheim/OC YouTube channel, each video will feature one chef who will take viewers behind the swinging doors of the kitchen as they describe their favorite days in OC, their preferred last meal on earth and what their favorite comfort food is; all while taking us inside their kitchens to whip up their restaurant’s most popular dishes.

“Today, Orange County’s dining scene offers eclectic, innovative and classic cuisine. From comfortable gastropubs to healthy gourmet meals they cover the gamut,” said Elaine Cali, Communications Vice President, Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau. “This series gives viewers an insider look at what inspires OC’s chefs to create cuisine that continues to raise the bar.”

The series will officially launch on Thursday, January 17, with Irvine, California-based Andrei’s Conscious Cuisine and Cocktails. Chef Yves Fournier and owner Natalia Olenicoff take sustainability beyond the kitchen and into the lives of their guests with a restaurant that is also a non-profit organization.
