New York chef and cookbook author Suvir Saran will be celebrating the release of American Masala: 125 New Classics From My Home Kitchen, by introducing himself, his new cookbook and dishes from the book at Sapphire Laguna and Laguna Beach Books on Saturday, October 13. Masala is a catchall phrase that means spice mixture – not just those we add to food, but in our lives as well. Suvir Saran explores this in his book- it’s his way of sharing his cooking talents and spirit.
