Del Frisco’s Grille Celebrates National Burger Month

Del Frisco’s Grille’s prime cheeseburger has already received numerous accolades, even being compared to a fancy “Double-Double,” and in celebration of National Burger Month this May, Santa Monica’s noteworthy restaurant is kicking it up a notch with a special tribute to the neighborhood. Executive Chef Daniel Tiger has created the “Silicon Beach Burger,” which is designed to celebrate the beach culture that has merged with the technology boom in Santa Monica.

In addition, Del Frisco’s Grille will be celebrating its namesake on National Burger Day, May 28, offering FREE Silicon Beach Burgers to those with the initials D.F.G. (with proof of ID).

Del Frisco’s Grille’s Silicon Beach Burger includes a Pacific blend of beef patty, grilled pineapple, bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, American cheese, eel sauce and spicy mayo, topped with a bun, or without if ordered “Cali style,” with fries and is available throughout the month of May for $16 at lunch and dinner.

Restaurants across the country will be honoring this classic dish throughout May, but no restaurant will have perfected the beach-inspired burger quite like Del Frisco’s Grille in Santa Monica.
