Descanso Restaurant in Costa Mesa, which reopened its indoor dining room on September 8, is pleased to resume midweek lunch service on Tuesday, September 29. Featuring all-new items, the menu of Central Mexican street-inspired cuisine is available inside, to-go and al fresco on the restaurant’s 1,500 square-foot patio.
The modern taqueria’s fresh and vibrant menu introduces instant-favorites including the Mexibol, a new offering filled with bold flavors and nourishing ingredients including refried pinto beans, Mexican fried rice, pico de gallo, avocado toreado salsa, salsa frita, tortilla chips and a choice of protein or vegetables. For a creative Mexican spin on a California classic, try the Salmon Avocado Toast with steelhead salmon confit, avocado, chile morita aioli, carrots, snap peas, potatoes, roasted corn and toasted bolillo bread.
Midweek lunch is available Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m., reserving Monday to deep-clean the restaurant. Descanso has extensive protocols in place to keep guests and staff safe and adheres to all guidelines put forth by local and state agencies. Descanso respectfully asks all guests to wear masks when walking throughout the property.
