Don the Beachcomber is introducing a new option for a quick, hearty lunch at an affordable price with the opening of “Don’s Seafood Shack.” The new concept revolves around a simple 14-entree lunch menu offered 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, in the restaurant’s Longboard Room. Although the menu consists largely of seafood selections, there are beef and pork entrees, as well as vegetarian options.
“Currently, we have transformed our Longboard Room into Don’s Seafood Shack,’ but over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding an actual bamboo shack’ to our restaurant,” commented Arthur Snyder, who co-owns Don the Beachcomber with his wife, Delia, who serves as Executive Chef. “The new concept will face Pacific Coast Highway and guests will be able to walk up to Don’s and order lunch to go or stay to enjoy it on our patio with a beer, wine or an original Mai Tai.”The Don’s Seafood Shack menu features the following entrees, each priced at $9.99 (full menu as PDF at http://www.donthebeachcomber.com/pdf/dtbc_10_lunch_menu.pdf):
