The Pinnacle Restaurant has always been known for great Mediterranean/American food, spectacular Wine Country views, and great service. On October 28th they will be rolling out additional menu items to better suit the cooler months that are approaching. These items largely fit into a “Mediterranean diet” along with being part of their dining philosophy of encouraging diners to have their “big meal of the day” at lunchtime. Having been voted “Best Restaurant” from 2008-2011 by Inland Empire Magazine, the Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery continues to impress and improve. Executive Chef Gianni Ciciliot, voted “Best Chef” from 2009-2011, and his staff are introducing numerous delicious and healthy new items to the menu. This wonderful restaurant is promoting Mediterranean items on their menu and how they assist those individuals who “eat healthy” and follow a Mediterranean diet. For example, most new and existing menu items emphasize the use of olive oil in the cooking, many fruits and vegetables in the preparation, and numerous fish and poultry products as the protein.
The new menu includes many new health conscience salads, sandwiches, pastas, entrees, and desserts. Staying with their Mediterranean/American food theme, Chef Gianni is introducing a new sandwich: the Ancho Chicken Wrap with grilled chicken breast, spinach tortilla, lettuce, Mandarin oranges, hearts of palm, cheese, and cilantro ranch dressing; and a healthy and large Pork Porterhouse entrée in a mushroom demi-glace that is seared and served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. In the American style, Chef Gianni adds two great beef dishes with a grilled Rib Eye sandwich served on a hoagie roll with cheese and tomato and a large Rib Eye Steak entrée in a green peppercorn demi-glace served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. A major change to the menu is the inclusion of 5 new side orders that will be available: Grilled Lemon Garlic Bread, Grilled Asparagus, Butternut Squash Succotash, Winemaker Pasta, and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Finish your meal with the Chef’s newest house made dessert- a Cinnamon Banana Martini. This is a decadent “Bananas Foster” style dessert with ginger and anise seasoned bananas spiked with spiced rum and served over cinnamon ice cream topped with whipped cream and toasted macadamia nuts served in a martini glass. To accompany all your dishes the Pinnacle has a specific wine recommendation for each item. With most wines by the glass and wines from Temecula Valley, Napa Valley, elsewhere in California and Italy, diners at the Pinnacle can relax in in-door or balcony comfort while enjoying the spectacular views of Temecula Wine Country from this stunning hill-top restaurant.
