The recent opening of the Habit Burger Grill at 2200 Barranca Parkway raised over $5,000 for three local non-profits. The Irvine-based Habit Restaurants, LLC always donates 100% of proceeds from pre-opening fundraisers to designated organizations. For the Irvine opening, a total of $1,559 was raised by supporters of MDA-Muscular Dystrophy Association of Orange County & Inland Empire; $1,019 was donated to Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry and the Assistance League of Irvine brought in $2,496. This is the Habit’s second location in Irvine; the opening last December of a restaurant at 14474 Culver Drive raised over $4,000 for three charities.
