Beware! Please do not eat this seafood. This creature (Heh Koh in Hokkien dialect and or Lai Liew Har in Cantonese dialect) is actually not the lobster or “mini lobster” that it is being passed off as by some restaurant owners. Be alert as this food item may infect your lungs. These mini crustaceans are garbage cleaners in sewage treatment plants. The ‘dirtier’ the water, the more plump these “mini lobsters” become. Their lungs are full of worms and their flesh is saturated with poisonous metals. Please pass this warning off to friends who may want to try these “mini lobsters.”
