The weekend of August 6th, 2009, all chefs were out of the kitchen and in the tent on Union Square; elbow to elbow with thousands of food and wine lovers at SF Chefs inaugural event. Union Square became the epicenter of this four-day event which hosted over 5,000 guests, chefs, volunteers, winemakers, bartenders, charities, partners, journalists and bloggers from the Bay Area, across the United States and from around the world. Chef Thomas Keller said of the weekend, It was great to see food and wine lovers from all over gathered under one roof.
