Jaime Partners provided owners’ representation and acted as the builder and construction managers for Chef Javier Plascencia’s second restaurant in the U.S. They coordinated and supervised the construction team, and oversaw the design and furniture suppliers for the 4,800 square-foot space.
Bracero features two levels for dining. Their downstairs offers a more casual feel, while the upstairs -which is set to fully open in August – features an exclusive mezzanine, indoor- and outdoor seating and floor-to-ceiling interactive vertical bar towers. Both levels house an open kitchen.
“It was a very interesting project to coordinate, with many designers, vendors and artists from across the border,” said Alfredo Jaime and Rodolfo Farber of Jaime Partners.
Additionally, Jaime Partners worked with the community of Little Italy regarding permits and expectations. Dubbed in the top 10 of Forbes’ “Best Cities and Neighborhoods for Millennials,” Little Italy is also home to two other Jaime Partners projects: Kettner Exchange, which opened in October 2014, and The Music Box that is set to open later this year.
