Lark Creek Celebrates Teacher Appreciation Month

WHAT: To thank Orange County-area teachers for the crucial role they play in making sure every student receives a quality education, Lark Creek Newport Beach will celebrate “Teacher Appreciation Month” throughout the month of May. For every teacher or school employee who presents their teacher or school employment identification while dining at Lark Creek, their first $10 spent is paid for by the restaurant, even if the bill is only $10 (excluding alcohol, tax, and gratuity). There is no limit to the number of times a teacher can visit Lark Creek, no limit to the number of teachers dining together, and no minimum purchase required.

Every first week in May, the National Education Association kicks-off “National Teacher Appreciation Week” with “National Teacher Day,” celebrated this year on May 6, 2014. Lark Creek Newport Beach’s coinciding “Teacher Appreciation Month” reinforces the importance of recognizing the local community’s teachers and school employees.

Additionally, Lark Creek Restaurant Group is asking for nominations for stellar teachers (200 words or less) who especially deserve a night out on the town. Two teachers will be selected to receive dinner for four with sommelier’s wine selections, at the Lark Creek Restaurant group of their choice. Nominations must be submitted by May 31, 2014 to info@larkcreek.com.
