Matt and Jeff Nichols Confirm Acquisition of Red Barn in Santa Ynez for Brothers

Brothers Matt and Jeff Nichols, owners and chefs of the newSides Hardware and Shoes, a Brothers Restaurant in Los Olivos, and the former Brothers Restaurant at Mattei’s Tavern, confirm that they have acquired the Red Barn Steak House located in Santa Barbara County.

The Nichols brothers anticipate an opening in early fall, as they redesign the interior and finalize menus inspired by the cooking that their fans have enjoyed for sixteen years in Santa Barbara County.Additional developments and progress on the new venture will be announced on the Brothers Restaurant website, Facebook, and Twitter feed.

“We’re super excited. This is going to be our new home for Brothers Restaurant,” says Matt Nichols. “We’ve had our eye on this space for some time as an ideal location for us.And, we have an ongoing commitment to our community and preserving its history.We are proud to be part of the Red Barn and Santa Ynez and hope that our neighbors will be pleased with our efforts.”
