New Beverages Perfect for Parching Summer Thirsts

Tam O'ShanterTam O’Shanter, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles, has developed several new beverage offerings to help quench even the driest thirsts this summer. And with the heat already descending upon L.A., the Tam’s timing couldn’t be better.

The new beverages-to be offered during the Tam’s popularSundaybrunch, which runs from10:30am to 2:30pm-include a special communal 50-ounce punch bowl. Only $19 (serves four to six glasses or four people), the bowls will be filled with a different cocktail concoction every week. Bowls served thus far have included La Fleur (St. Germain and champagne mixed with a delicious blend of fresh squeezed citrus juices), Spanish Sangria (Cabernet, Mandarin Napoleon Brandy and orange juice combined with delicious assortment of fresh handpicked fruits), and refreshing White Sangria (Chardonnay, Pamplemousse Liquor and Jasmine Liquor accented with fresh berries and fruit). With the Tam’s classic decor and homage to history and tradition, the punch bowl is extra special. For centuries, they were standard in homes and local drinking establishments, providing a design icon around which groups of people came together, gossiped, and enjoyed life. This communal approach to happy living is making a comeback at the Tam!

Other newSundaybrunch beverages include bottomless draft beer. Customers can choose from three to four draft beers (selections change weekly) for only $16. The offer also comes with a free limited edition Tam O’Shanter 32-ounce growler. Recently featured bottomless draft beers have included Scrimshaw, Guinness, Harp and Firestone Walker 805.

Last but not least, bottomless Mimosas ($12) and bottomless champagne ($7) are also offered during the Tam’sSundaybrunch.
