New Orleans Inspired Menu Rolls Out at Bourbon Street

Chef Cody Storts, from Bourbon Street in downtown Fullerton, has rolled out a new exciting menu featuring Acadian cuisine with fresh local ingredients, better known as California Cajun Cuisine. What is California Cajun Cuisine? Think of spicy, cajun rubs, cured meats, seafood, seasoned rice dishes presented with vibrant colors with citrus and rustic herb flavors. Just listen to how they prepare theirLousiana Frites appetizer, fresh cut shoe string fries topped with pulled pork, baked beans, ginger slaw, BBQ sauce, garlic aioli and pickled vegetables. Try the flavor bursting Vodoo Shrimp entree which involves a combination ofCajun buttered Gulf shrimp over seasoned dirty rice with seasonal veggies. Another favorite by guests is the Bacon Bourbon Bread pudding, drizzled with a warm maple glaze.
