Togo’s Sandwiches, a West Coast Original since 1971 serving big, made to order sandwiches stuffed with the freshest ingredients, announced six agreements with single and multi-unit developers for a total of eleven new locations in California. The agreements are for restaurants in Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County and Contra Costa County.
Mark and Linda Moran, Karen Tang and Robert Dorian are new franchisees for the Orange County and Los Angeles County areas and are planning restaurants in San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Rancho Santa Margarita, Pasadena, and the San Fernando Valley. These new franchisees were looking for a great business opportunity with low start-up costs, where they could work for themselves and expand quickly. Togo’s also recently unveiled a new restaurant prototype design that is drawing rave reviews from franchisees and customers alike. The new design has increased interest in Togo’s Franchise opportunities.
After opening his first Togo’s on Wilshire Blvd., longtime franchisee Fernando Santos has also signed an agreement to open his second location in downtown Los Angeles. He is among a group of existing franchisees signing agreements to open more restaurants, after experiencing tremendous success in the Togo’s franchise system.
“Our franchisees stand out as people who are dedicated and passionate about achieving their goals,” said Todd Peterson, vice president of franchise sales. “We believe that in these single and multi-unit franchisees we have found people who have a passion for Togo’s:more specifically, large portions, and fresh and delicious sandwiches.”
With the addition of these eleven restaurants, Togo’s will have more than 250 locations on the West Coast. The franchise will continue its focus on expanding to better serve its guests, expecting to open 16 new units in 2011 and 25 in 2012.
