Long Beach’s authentic Italian restaurant, Passaparola Trattoria, is now open for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Passaparola, which translated means “word of mouth”, is known for its rustic cuisine from several different regions of Italy from executive chef, Stefano Procaccini and brothers Luca and David Carteni.
Most appetizer items on the new lunch menu are priced below $10 including Calamari Luciana and Parmigiana di Melanzane. An assortment of Panini are mosty priced at $8.95. Homemade pasta dishes, like beef meatballs and spinach and ricotta cheese ravioli, range from $11 to $13 and entrees such as Veal Parmigiana and a free-range Cornish Game Hen range from $12 to $16.
