Peligroso Tequila, the upcoming California brand, is now entering its third year in business and has recently signed deals that will make the brand available in 45 states across America, including Georgia, Colorado, Texas, Florida, New York, and Illinois.
“Peligroso has worked diligently and strategically to retain the attention of the super elusive ‘dream demographic’ of emerging influences and new consumers,” says Peligroso’s VP of Marketing, Christy Farias. “We are not just converting tequila drinkers from other brands, we are recruiting new tequila drinkers from other categories.”
The company has created partnerships with several large beverage suppliers, like Young’s Market Company, Southern Wine & Spirits, Wirtz Beverage Group, as well as many others. While they have experienced high sales in markets like California and Hawaii, due to their close connection with sports industries like surfing and skating, the tequila brand is quickly becoming a favorite choice of those in the music and entertainment industry.
“It’s also fantastic to see how Peligroso has been embraced by true tequila aficionados throughout the spirits industry,” says Peligroso’s President and CEO, Keith Ross. “We look forward to growing in our new markets and reaching new consumers nationwide.”
