Prego restaurant to open its doors after 5-month renovation period after accidental fire. Normal Hours resume Tuesday, November 27th from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.Irvine, CA (November 2012) – Just in time for the busy holiday season, Prego Ristorante Owners Tony and Ruth Bedi, along with Executive Chef Ugo Allesina, have reopened their doors for business after a 5-month closure due to a fire in late June.
“We are reopening with a fresh, new look and renewed spirit,” commented Tony Bedi, who revealed that nobody was injured in the accidental fire, which took place on June 21, 2012. “We are grateful to reopen before the holidays, and it could not have been possible without our dedicated staff and loyal guests, all of whom have been so supportive these past few months.”
