The latest Project Dinner Table event, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, this May, was a hit! With 200 guests served, the dinner was the largest turnout that the project, based on pop-up meals served at a new location each event, has received. Project Dinner Table launched in 2010. The dinners are a way for members of the community to get together and enjoy local food and interesting conversations. At each event, the organization donates its contributions to a local charity.
The dinner in Las Vegas was cooked by Chef Philipp Norsetter of T-Bones Chophouse at the Red Rock Resort, featuring a five-course meal with smoked trout salad, English pea and spring garlic soup, seafood paella, grilled flank steak, and strawberry rhubarb. The dinner benefited the charities Child Focus and Through the Eyes of a Child Foundation.
For those interested in attending the next event, the tickets cost $140 per person and are available on their website.
