Project Dinner Table begins its 2011 season on Saturday, April 16 at Town Square.Project Dinner Table’s signature table, which is draped in white linens and seats up to 150 guests, will dominate the shopping venue’s North Main Street, stretching from Pete’s Piano Bar to Michael Stars. An array of world-renowned chefs from MGM Grand will create the dinner’s seven course menu. The dinner begins at 5 p.m.

Project Dinner Table is the wildly popular community dinner series founded by self-proclaimed spoonbender, Gina Gavan. What makes Project Dinner Table so special is the delicious sense of community each event brings.Every dinner is hosted in a unique location, unavailable typically to the public for dinner with each location selected based on its ability to host the event’s signature long, white dinner table serving dishes family style. Local chefs work with local growers and purveyors to not only create a one-night-only menu, but also to educate Las Vegans on all that is available while feasting on an organic dinner. To further, a portion of every dinner’s proceeds benefits a Southern Nevada charity.

For the dinner itself on April 16, the menu will highlight the aspects of spring with courses aptly titled as the season. For example, appetizer course will be called, “Pollen” representing the beginning; the first course will feature fresh fruits of the season and will be called, “Seed” and the concluding dessert course will showcase a spring treat from the kitchen of Joi«l Robuchon and will be called, “Honey.”MGM Grand chefs will each prepare courses; the stunning menu will be executed by Chefs Jennifer Bargisen; Eric Suniga; Christina Olivarez; Paolo Pitti, Matt Seeber; Jose Macias and Marco Cossio and Kamel Guechida.
