Rikin Lakhani Promoted to Director of Operations

Rikin Lakhani has been promoted to the position of director of operations, West Coast for Seasons 52, the popular national collection of fresh grill and wine bar restaurants. He will continue overseeing operations at Seasons 52 at South Coast Plaza, Seasons 52 at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix and at the three soon-to-open Southern California restaurants: Seasons 52 at Westfield Century City in West Los Angeles (opening November 12, 2012); Seasons 52 at Westfield UTC in San Diego (opening November 19, 2012); and Seasons 52 at Palisades Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica (opening Winter 2013).

“Rikin is a seasoned industry pro who has done an exceptional job as managing partner during the last two years launching and overseeing Seasons 52 at South Coast Plaza, California, which was our first opening west of the Mississippi. We are very pleased to promote him to this new and challenging position,” stated Stephen Judge, president of Seasons 52.

Lakhani joined Seasons 52 in 2005 after a decade of experience in restaurant management and operations in independent venture environments and working with worldwide restaurant group concepts. Prior to his position as managing partner at Seasons 52 at South Coast Plaza, he was the managing partner for the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, restaurant. Before joining Seasons 52, he was the beverage director at Tsunami fine dining restaurant and Tsunami Resort Lounge & Nightclub in West Palm Beach and also worked for Bacio Gelateria as a regional manager for locations in Miami and West Palm Beach.

Lakhani holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and restaurant management from Florida International University, Miami and has earned an Introductory Sommelier Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. A native of India, he is fluent in several Asian and African languages and dialects. He is married and resides in Studio City, California.
