Results are in and voters at the SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Finale have made their decision. With 37% of the vote, the Ruth’s Chris Steak House Broad Street Hurricane waschosen the Pasadena Cocktail of the Year 2012. The Ruth’s Chris team of General Manager Linda Jordan, bartender Mike Wade and bar assistant Kelly Luu were presented with the first Cocktail of the Year trophy by Pasadena Chamber Board Members CL Keedy and Tom Daly.
“The Pasadena Chamber is grateful to all the competitors for making this inaugural SIP-tember Cocktail Bracket Challenge a success,” said Chamber CEO Paul Little.
The SIP-tember cocktail bracket challenge is an annual six week long competition among Pasadena Chamber of Commerce member restaurants and lounges. Competitors served drinks that were paired against each other in a competition.
Over the past six weeks, online voters have whittled the list down from 64 cocktails. In total more than 7500 voters were cast during the five weeks of online voting.
