Hakkasan Group announced that the globallifestyle hospitality company will open the fourth installment of Chef Brian Malarkey’spopular Searsucker restaurant in Santa Monica, Calif., this winter. Located in TheSeychelle at Ocean Avenue South, a luxury residential development by RelatedCalifornia, Searsucker’s Santa Monica outpost will be the brand’s first foray into the LosAngeles area.
The latest Searsucker location will introduce Angelenos to Malarkey’s unapologetictake on American classics, set in a laid-back atmosphere. The menu will showcasecreative dishes featuring ingredients sourced from local farmer’s markets as well as anexpanded raw bar selection and will be complemented by an array of uniquelycrafted cocktails.
Hakkasan Group and Malarkey have joined together, since the January 2014acquisition of Enlightened Hospitality Group, to bring the chef’s acclaimed “Fabric ofSocial Dining” concepts to new markets within the U.S. Together, Malarkey andHakkasan Group are joining forces to expand Searsucker into new cities including LasVegas and have plans to develop new brands, the first of which is slated to debut in theLittle Italy neighborhood of San Diego, in Spring 2015.
