sidedoorSideDoor, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and the adjacent sister restaurant to Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, has created two new beverage programs a new beer flight and a create your own wine flight that will delight guests across the culinary spectrum.
With California recently named the best beer state in the nation, many enthusiasts can be overwhelmed with the myriad of choices available, from blondes to ales to gluten-free options. SideDoor’s new beer flight, however, allows guests to sample a variety of delicious brews from taps for a very reasonable price. The beer flight includes four four-ounce tasters for $12 and features a frequently updated range of specialty and micro-brews. Highlights of previous flights have included Anchor Zymaster, Ritual Brown, Moylans Dragoons Dry Irish Stout, and many others to impress almost any beer enthusiast.

Likewise, the create your own wine flight lets guests choose any number of two-ounce tasters from a large selection of hand-picked wines. Past flights have included Davis Bynum chardonnay, Twomey sauvignon blanc, Billecart-Salmon champagne, MacRostie pinot noir, Stag’s Leap Artemis cabernet sauvignon, Flowers Perennial red blend, and much more.

For both the beer and wine flights, SideDoor makes the experience more educational and enjoyable through delicious food pairings. The restaurant’s knowledgeable servers can suggest the perfect dishes to go with any set of beer or wine tasters.

Additionally, SideDoor also will continue to offer unique and eclectic cocktails as well as its hand-cut ice program. The restaurant’s mixologists create inspiring libations with a focus on classic cocktails made the right way, as well as custom designed cocktails that feature seasonal ingredients and fresh herbs literally grown in SideDoor’s garden. SideDoor also dazzles patrons with cocktails featuring unique ice shapes, including special cubes and the spectacular Ice Sphere Press, which creates an ice sphere on the spot. And all of the libations will be available with SideDoor’s inventive, seasonal, and weekly-changing menu, which features small plates portioned for sharing, unique artisanal cheese and charcuterie plates, and house-made desserts.
