Slapfish Introduces “Little Sharks Menu”

slapfishSlapfishFounder and fatherChef Andrew Gruelintroduces a “Little Sharks Menu” at his Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach locations.In an effort to get kids to eat more nutritious and delicious brain food, the modern seafood shack has taken itsunwavering commitment to sustainable seafood one step further with the introduction of kid-friendly classics with a Slapfish twist.By promoting fun, kid-worthy seafood dishes FOR FREE every Wednesday, Slapfish is educating kids about the importance of eating a healthy, balanced diet.Seafood is an important component of a healthy diet, especially for pregnant women and children as it supports growth and development while offering heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, lean protein, vitamins and minerals.

“The importance of maintaing a balanced diet at young age helps kids make conscious dining decisions throughout the rest of their life ,” commented Executive Chef Andrew Gruel, who recently celebrated the birth of his son. “The introduction of our Little Sharks Menu allows us to help parents satisfy their kids’ cravings while also supplementing their growing dietary needs with the freshest, sustainably caught seafood.”

The Little Sharks Menu is offered daily and can be enjoyed by children under 12 for free every Wednesday. Additional seafood specials can be found at Slapfish in Huntington Beach (19696 Beach Blvd., in the Newland Center at Adams), and in Laguna Beach (211 Broadway Street, across from Main Beach at PCH).
