As the weather warms up, visitors to Hotel del Coronado’s many dining spots can enjoy all that Spring has to offer: fresh delicacies from the sea, straight-from-the-garden Spring dishes, casual outdoor beachfront dining and tasty new sunset-inspired cocktails. The new season also brings a series of lively special events.

SEA+FOOD on June 7 on the Windsor Lawn from 2 to 5 p.m.
This full of fun, retro rhythm and blues music and delicious local seafood, BBQ and beverages event will be a one-day Pacific coast food festival to remember. Craft beers, wines and spirits start the afternoon featuring celebrity bartender Manny Hinojosa, and a portion of the proceeds will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to benefit childhood cancer. Delectable Lil’ Del BBQ, smoked oysters, raw bar with sashimi and a clam bake station will tempt as guests relax to the sounds of The Whitney Shay/Robin Henkel Extravaganza! Their music blend ranges from the raw 1920’s blues of Robert Johnson and Bessie Smith to the high-energy rhythm and blues popularized in the 50s and 60s by Etta James and Little Richard. Sun Deck Bar & Grill Converted to Full-Service Restaurant Starting Saturday, April 19
The resort’s much-loved outdoor beachfront eatery, Sun Deck Bar & Grill, will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. as it becomes a full-service restaurant continuing to serve casual fare favorites including Del White Cheddar Burger; Basil Chicken Sandwich; Coastal Caesar Salad; Smoked House BBQ Chopped Salad; and thirst-quenching beverages throughout the day. The bar is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until sunset.
