Hollywood’s favorite cupcakes are heading to the Middle East this year following the signing of a franchise agreement between Sprinkles Cupcakes and M.H. Alshaya Co. This partnership will expand the Sprinkles brand into ten countries across the region, including Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar.
Based in Beverly Hills, Sprinkles Cupcakes launched in 2005 as the first cupcakes-only bakery and is widely recognized as the originator of gourmet cupcake trend. The brand has expanded and now operates out of ten markets in the United States.
Baked fresh daily, Sprinkles are handcrafted from the finest ingredients, including sweet cream butter, bittersweet Belgian chocolate, pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, fresh bananas and carrots, real strawberries and natural citrus zests.Flavors range from the expected vanilla and dark chocolate to the exotic chai latte and ginger lemon.Seasonal specials rotate throughout the year so cupcake enthusiasts can look forward to flavors like key lime, cherry and lemon blueberry during the summer while warming up in the winter with s’more and chocolate peppermint.Red velvet is Sprinkles’ most iconic flavor and is available daily, outselling all other flavors in its current bakeries.
