Taco Asylum Introduces Wine in Mini Tanks (Thats Right Mini Tanks)

Taco Asylumstaystrue to its commitment to operating in the most eco-conscious manner, taco asylum has introduced MÁS Wine Company’s award-winning draft wines served out of stand alone mini tanks. The eatery, best known for its non-traditional gourmet tacos, is now serving MAS Vino, a 2009 California blend of 45% Sangiovese, 42% Petite Sirah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Zinfandel; and MAS Chardonnay, also a 2009 California wine that is lightly oaked with aromas and flavors of ripe pear, green apple, lemon meringue, pineapple and banana.

“When we decided to introduce wine to our beverage menu, we researched the most environmentally responsible options so we did not produce unnecessary waste,” commented Wil Dee, Managing Partner & Beverage Director at taco asylum. “In addition to the overall quality of the wines, what really attracted us to the MAS mini-tank system was the fact that the packaging is 100% reusable while keeping the wine fresh for up to 60 days.”

Also new on the menu are five Belgian beers, each available in a large-format 25.4 oz size:

These beers have joined the more than 30 canned craft beers and six rotating draught options at taco asylum at The CAMP in Costa Mesa.

Colored beer and mini wine tanks? I'm sorry but how can you not want to go check this out? We at Great Taste can't help ourselves.
