The Federal Bar will sneak peek for the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend this Friday, April 19th. Federal Bar Long Beach will showcase a preview menu of the restaurant April 19-21 at the soft opening kick-off weekend.
The restaurant will then close for finishing touches and completion of its back room, and will reopen in May 2013. The Federal Bar’s downstairs performance/event/bar space will open in summer.
The Federal Bar Long Beach, sister to its namesake in North Hollywood, is a sophisticated gastropub serving up unique pub eats like theFederal Dog, an all beef hot dog topped with shallot rings, pickled jalapenos and mustardand an extensive craft beer selection, and will also host local entertainers and musicians in the expansive former Madison Steakhouse space at 102 Pine Avenue in Long Beach.
