calling all guests from 1975, you may win a weekend stay plus other rewards

Back in 1975, when a gallon of gasoline cost 44 cents, Sony introduced Betamax videotapes, and a new Chevrolet Caprice was less than $5,000, the brand new Westin South Coast Plaza, then called the South Coast Plaza Hotel, opened to accommodate its first guests. The date was August 18.

As a special celebratory anniversary salute, the hotel calls all guests who stayed in the hotel in the opening month, August of 1975. They may be eligible to win a weekend stay in the presidential suite with breakfast, a $1,000 shopping spree at the luxurious South Coast Plaza shopping center and a VIP dinner for two at the award winning Scott’s Restaurant & Bar, at total value of $5,000.

To enter, the guest should contact Trine Ackelman, Director of Sales & Marketing, at 714-662-6619 before August 31, 2015 and show proof of the stay, such as a credit card or printed receipt with the correct date. Should there be more than one contestant there will be a drawing to determine the winner.  Employees or affiliates of the Westin South Coast Plaza or C.J. Segerstrom & Sons are not eligible to enter.
