Theaters Bet On Restaurant-Quality Food To Boost Ticket Sales

A growing number of movie theaters are replacing stale popcorn and giant boxes of candy with shrimp salad rolls and cheeseburgers. As many as 400 U.S. cinemas offer restaurant service, according to the National Association of Theatre Owners. Industry analysts expect the number to double in the next few years as theaters struggle to boost attendance.
