B. toffeewill join forces withWhole Foods Marketin Newport Beach to host theirSummer Ice Cream SocialonSaturday, July 27thfrom2 p.m. – 5 p.m.(415 Newport Center at Fashion Island). The public is invited to enjoy an ice cream sundae topped with B. toffee’s signature B. bits, and Owner Betsy Thagard will be making samples of her B. Frosty shake and providing recipe cards so guests can make them at home. Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for canisters of B. toffee. There is no cost to participate in the ice cream social or raffle.
Whole Foods Markets around the nation will host their own Ice Cream Socials on that day with featured ice creams fromSo Delicious(Non-GMO Project verified) andThree Twins(organic), who will donate $1 from every sale of their frozen products (except single servings) to the Non-GMO Project. The event will serve to educate customers aboutgenetically modified organisms.
