Union Market Tustin is the brainchild of Andrea and Russell Young. Originally inspired by the Ferry Building Marketplace in San Francisco, the couple’s first project was OC Mart on 17th Street in Costa Mesa which served as the seed idea for their ultimate partnership in The OC Mart Mix, followed by the recently opened Market LV in Las Vegas. Union Market Tustin will be reminiscent of something you would find in New York or San Francisco, with a modern, industrial vibe and very open feel.
Poised to bring exciting, creative and local energy to The District Promenade, Union Market Tustin has taken over the space vacated by Borders Books & Music and offer a combination of independent retail and restaurant concepts with a variety of indoor and outdoor communal areas for gathering and events. By offering spaces that range from 200 to 3,000 square feet, Union Market Tustin attracts independent businesses and emerging artisans and brands.
In conjunction with The District Promenade’s current campus including AMC Tustin 14, RA Sushi, Auld Dubliner Irish Pub, Fashion Camp OC, Bowlmor Lanes, Vans, Tilly’s, DSW, Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Native Foods Cafe, Union Market Tustin is expected to bring upwards of 20 new offerings for visitors. The District has hosted numerous high profile events including Foodies & Fashionistas, the kick-off to Orange County Restaurant Week, the annual ICSC Summer Program, and Leprechaun Leap, as well as several cooking demos, Radio Disney events, charitable events, a Farmer’s Market, seasonal celebrations and test drive events.
