Yorganic Invites Foodies to Embrace One-Of-A-Kind Gourmet Delivery Service
Teri Williams
Yorganic Chef, a unique delivery service that plans to offer fresh, organic meals to be delivered to consumers weekly, launched a fundraising campaign today on crowdfunding site Indiegogo. Yorganic Chef will allow its members to choose their meals for the week from a menu that reads like one in the swankiest restaurant featuring local organic meats and produce that is portion-controlled, health and wonderful. The company hopes to raise $185,000 in capital to open its first facility in Los Angeles; where a culinary team will prepare and ship meals that are approved by a nutritionist and crafted by a renowned chef. The first funds will support a lunch menu in Los Angeles, and then Yorganic Chef will grow to include breakfast, dinner, snacks and desserts throughout the United States. The food will always be fresh and never frozen and will include a variety of cuisines that will satisfy any palate. With plans that start at approximately $22 per day, the meals will be delivered in Yorganic Chef’s patented, stay-fresh thermo tote bags. From Pan-Seared Alaskan Halibut and Sauteed Garlic Tiger-Prawns to the Curry Chicken Wrap and Grilled Bison Burger, Yorganic Chef will provide filling dishes that taste great and are great for you.
Prior to establishing Yorganic Chef, restaurateur/chef Nick Diakantonis enjoyed a successful career serving high-quality food in popular upscale restaurants and created a company that supplied fresh specialty pastas to fine dining establishments.
Those who donate to Yorganic Chef’s Indiegogo campaign will be among the first to experience the convenience and satisfaction of having exquisite, freshly prepared meals delivered to their doorstep. All donors will receive exclusive discounts on the service after its first facility opens.
Rewards for contributions range from the $25 Line Cook level, where supporters will receive a thank-you email and acknowledgement on the Yorganic Chef website and social media pages; to the $100,000 Entrepreneurial Life Plan level, which includes a 5-course meal for up to 10 people prepared in the donor’s own home once a year for life. Other rewards include a gift set of exotic spices, a sampling of all Yorganic Chef desserts, complimentary lunches and dinners, and the Yorganic Chef patented, insulated tote bag.
