When one of So Cal’s best-loved chefs/restaurateurs says she wants to “raise the bar” on the OC dining scene, she means it’¦literally! Zov Karamardian, who owns and operates 5 OC dining establishments, is about to unveil the $750,000 remodel of her flagship restaurant in Tustin whose centerpiece is a newly installed, massive wood bar that will feature a dedicated food menu as well as expanded artisan cocktails, 25 wines-by-the-glass and several craft beers on tap, announced Armen Karamardian, vice president of operations for Zov Enterprises.
The extensive remodel also will reveal the addition of 2 private state-of-the-art dining rooms accommodating groups of up to 15 and featuring audio/visual capabilities; updated lighting system with soffit illumination and several imported fixtures; new furnishings including dining chairs and tables as well as newly upholstered banquettes; and other features.
Since opening her first restaurant in 1987, Zov has become one of the best-loved chefs in Southern California. In addition to her restaurant enterprises, she is the author of 2 best-selling cookbooks, “Simply Zov” and “Zov: Recipes and Memories From the Heart,” each of which have sold 50,000 copies.
