Two beloved South Bay restaurants, Darren’s Restaurant and Fishing with Dynamite, were recently voted among Zagat’s “Top 50 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles.” Darren’s ranked #25, while Fishing with Dynamite followed closely at #29.
Darren’s Restaurant, which originally opened in 2007, underwent a complete renovation of both the space and the menu earlier this year. Chef-owner, Darren Weiss, who has been deaf since birth, flaunts his global culinary experience with his new menu, which boasts Mediterranean and Pacific Rim influences.
