Orange County restaurant, Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen, Brea’s award-winning restaurant, just opened at the popular shopping center, The Market Place in Irvine, July 2017. The second location will offer many of the contemporary dishes that guests have come to love with the addition of even more seafood; braised meats; and grinding corn in-house to create tortillas and various masa dishes. Additionally, guests will notice the fresh, new look achieved by renowned interior designer, Thomas Schoos, responsible for some of the country’s most successful hospitality ventures including restaurants, hotels and nightclubs such as Herringbone, Morimoto, Koi, Tao Night Clubs in New York and Las Vegas, Broadstone Corsair, and Eclat Hotel.

Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen has become known for fresh Latin cuisine made from scratch with quality, seasonal ingredients; sustainably-caught seafood; wood-fired meats; local organic produce; as well as signature margaritas and an innovative cocktail menu. Standouts on the new menu include Seafood Caldo served with fresh fish, shrimp, clams, squid, saffron-tomato broth, herbs and toasted angel hair; Wood-Fired Queso Fundido over roasted potatoes, poblano peppers, and portobello mushrooms baked in a cazuela; Guajillo Braised Short Rib Enchiladas served open-faced with Pasilla chile, goat cheese, fresh radish, achiote onions, epazote black beans; and Roasted Yucatan spiced Jidori Chicken with calabasitas, homemade salsa, and corn tortillas. Additionally, the new Irvine location will be grinding corn in-house to create fresh tortillas and several masa dishes.

For the past seven years, guests have been enjoying Cha Cha’s award-winning margaritas for their bold and refreshing flavors, however they may not realize how methodically and carefully each signature cocktail is crafted. To begin with, Cha Cha’s starts with 100% Blue Agave Tequilas, from their broad selection of iconic and boutique brands, to guarantee the highest quality. Next a house-made sweet and sour mix consisting of freshly squeezed limes and lemons is added along with organic agave nectar and house-infused syrups for the freshest experience possible. Every cocktail is made-to-order, carefully measured to ensure a well-balanced drink; shaken individually and strained over ice or served up; and garnished with a wide selection of fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables.

Guests of Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen Irvine location will enjoy an open-air dining room with large floor-to-ceiling retractable windows that provide plenty of natural light, wooden and marble countertops, handcrafted light fixtures, a glass enclosed exhibition kitchen and a large outdoor patio. The patio will feature an open-air bar, lounge seating, fire table and both intimate and communal seating for dining.
