Burger lovers soon don’t have to chase down their favorite food truck for their fix: The Cut The Cut Food Truckhas found a new home in Irvine’s Westpark Plaza, where its first brick-and-mortar location opened to the public in July 2017. The Cut Partners Steve Kim, Charlie Burnette, and Chef Andrés Dangond spent the last three years building the brand and gaining praise from local food writers, who consider it to serve one of Orange County’s best burgers.

When The Cut launched as a food truck in 2014, its mission was to deliver simple The Cut Burgerburgers without all the gimmicks and overly complicated toppings. Chef Andrés Dangond, who has cooked all over the world including several Michelin-starred restaurants like Alinea and L2O in Chicago, created a straightforward menu of signature handcrafted burgers made with 100% all-natural, certified humane and free-range meats.

Guests can continue to look forward to burger favorites like the Original Cut, with an Angus beef brisket and chuck patty, American cheese, pickles and their signature ‘Cut’ sauce. Other popular burgers include the Savory Cut, with bacon relish, Swiss cheese, aioli and 3000 Island sauce, The Cut’s take on the classic Thousand Island dressing.

Other new menu items include Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings, Serrano Ham Croquettes, Smoked Mac & Cheese, and a couple of great desserts. A selection of local craft beers, wine and an exciting cocktail menu will also be available.
