TERRINE WELCOMES THE NEW YEAR WITH BRUNCH SERVICEON ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC OUTDOOR PATIOS IN LOS ANGELES

Executive Chef Kris Morningstar serves a brunch menu of hearty, French-inspired California dishes alongside classic daytime cocktails, now available every Friday-Sunday

On the heels of a mid-December opening, Terrine announces brunch service available three days a week every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from restaurant industry veteran Stephane Bombet of Bombet Hospitality Group, Executive Chef Kris Morningstar, and partner Francois Renaud. Already making its mark in Los Angeles for Morningstar’s bold California comfort food inspired by the French classics, the lively brasserie is offering a menu of globally inspired dishes alongside a selection of brunch-time cocktails best enjoyed in the charming dining room or iconic garden, which is regarded as one of the best outdoor patios in Los Angeles.

“Terrine is a casual restaurant that serves elevated comfort food and Kris loves to cook brunch dishes, so it was natural for us to launch brunch service shortly after the restaurant opened,” says Bombet. “We also have one of the most beautiful gardens in the city, which makes the brunch experience very special.”

Morningstar’s brunch menu includes Pain Perdu ($14) with vanilla-battered French toast, sea salt caramel frosting, and maple; Frisee aux Lardons ($15) with Benton’s bacon, slow-cooked egg, and mustard vinaigrette; Spicy Fried Chicken and Grits ($16) with scallions and maple; and Eggs in Purgatory ($14) with spicy tomato sauce, fennel pollen, basil, pecorino, and crostini.

To accompany the rustic brunch dishes, guests can enjoy Bartender Ryan Wainwright’s menu of daytime cocktails, such asFrench 75 ($11) with Beefeater, lemon, and Prosecco; Italian Soda ($12) with Campari, Cynar, and pilsner; and a Bloody Mary ($14) with heirloom tomato, Monopolova, and spice.
