Chef Harry Brockwell Passed Away – Memorial Services Announced

718

Our mentor, colleague, fellow chef, adviser, and friend has just passed away last night (Saturday December 26th) at 8:05pm. He was taken to the hospital on Christmas Eve. Harry, as most of us know, had been in and out of the hospital in recent months with various complications. I had recently visited with Harry and the family in his home a little over a week ago. Although confined to his bed, he was in good spirits. He asked about many of us, and was pleased to hear that we were thinking of and asking about him in recent weeks. As always, he inquired about others, both in and out of the food service profession, and how they were doing. As all of us know and will remember about our friend Harry, he always thought of others, and how he could help them, both in and out of the profession.

Please keep Harry and his family in your prayers.  Thank you. Sincerely, Jon “Mike” Lodi
