Home to the Golden Globes for 41 consecutive years, and 45 times total, The Beverly Hilton will welcome comedian Ricky Gervais’ return as host of the awards show, which will be broadcast live cGolden Globes Menu 2oast-to-coast on NBC (8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PST) on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, and be seen in more than 210 countries worldwide.

The Beverly Hilton’s executive chefs curated a three-course menu for the Golden Globes that includes an appetizer of the California market salad featuring eggplant, bok choy, daikon, lotus and mustard greens with ginger dressing followed by an entrée of filet of beef with marinara crust and slow-roasted black garlic steelhead trout with spaghetti squash, fried capers and sweet potatoes. The vegetarian entrée consists of salt-baked heirloom sweet potatoes with creamed corn glaze with a fricassee of winter vegetables. For dessert, a trio of flourless Grand Marnier carmella, lemon mousseline croquantine and California almond cake are offered.

“It’s an honor to create this special menu for the Golden Globe Awards,” said Troy N. Thompson, executive chef, The Beverly Hilton. “We’re happy to be able to showcase the talents of our chefs and culinary team members, who look forward to presenting a show-stopping menu for the guests of this prestigious star-studded event each year.”

In addition to the Golden Globe Awards, Thompson has successfully overseen menus for high-profile events and galas at The Beverly Hilton including The Carousel of Hope Ball and The BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards. This is Executive Pastry Chef Thomas Henzi’s sixth consecutive year creating the decadent dessert for the Golden Globe Awards.

This year, Moët & Chandon celebrates 25 years as the official Champagne of the Golden Globes.  To establish the 2016 Golden Globes cocktail, Moët & Chandon hosted a cocktail competition won by LA mixologist Karen Grill and her creation, the Moët Ruby Red, a modern take on a French 75 cocktail and personal homage to The Wizard of Oz.    To further commemorate its quarter-century milestone with the Golden Globes, Moët & Chandon has developed and debuted a custom 25th Anniversary Golden Globes Mini Moët Champagne Caddy outfitted with the same limited edition “Festive So Bubbly” mini bottles that the stars will sip as they descend the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton on January 10.

The floral centerpieces by MARK’S GARDEN will be a combination of vivid, highly contrasting colors that coordinate with the platinum and gold accents of the stage décor. Held is flying in nearly 10,000 blooms from Holland and South America on Friday in time for the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
