LetterPress Chocolate Opens to Public

LetterPress Chocolate, the first bean to bar chocolate makers in Los Angeles, had their Grand Opening Saturday, September 15 at 2835 S. Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles.

The LA Times recently covered the story. Read more here.

LetterPress, which has won numerous awards for their chocolate as well as their unique packaging, gave samples of their chocolate as well as Repurposed Pod’s Cacao Juice and locally-made SloBru Craft Coffee cold brew, infused with LetterPress’ Ghana cacao nibs and served on nitro.

Unlike chocolatiers who melt down industrial chocolate, as a ‘bean to bar’ chocolate maker LetterPress Chocolate imports cacao beans from the source, and carefully roasts, cracks, winnows, refines, tempers and wraps every batch in a painstaking process which can take up to a week per batch.

Doors opened at 11am Saturday, September 15th. After the Grand Opening, LetterPress is now open Wednesday through Saturday for the rest of the month, with extended hours and days approaching the holiday season.
