McFadden Public Market has updated its collection of concepts with the introduction of Lost Art. The themed bar is Santa Ana’s contribution to the art world — a collective art work catering to our DTSA community — as well as a craft cocktail bar. McFadden Public Market hopes Lost Art will bring a living, breathing space dedicated to the surrounding art community, showcasing the work of local artists along with a new menu of expertly crafted cocktails inspired by them! The upscale, art-centered bar has taken the place of Under Control, the former downstairs bar at McFadden. The food hall has also said goodbye to Bone Stock, the food hall’s pho and spring roll concept.

“As much as we and our guests loved Bone Stock, they may have not been the best fit at McFadden. They’re focusing on their restaurant in Lake Forest for now and looking maybe to join up with us later on another project.” – Leonard Chan, Owner

As the eateries at McFadden continues to grow and evolve, so too has the entertainment and libations. The upstairs area of the food hall, which is home to one of its bars, Mission Control, is also stocked with vintage video games. With this, McFadden brings innovative eateries and nostalgic activities together harmoniously under one roof. The inclusion of Lost Art is sure to be a great additional space for guests to admire art, sip on elevated libations, and feel connected to the DTSA community. Some highlights of the offerings at Lost Art include Bloody 75, a gin cocktail made with blood orange cordial passionfruit syrup, and lemon, and topped with Champagne and an orange twist, and Italian Tea, created using Amaro Montenegro, elderflower liqueur, fernet, lemon, honey, and seared rosemary and orange zest. As far as the future of McFadden goes, owner Leonard is hopeful that the food hall will continue to add to the rich culture of Downtown Santa Ana.

“We are going through and meeting with a bunch of other fun concepts at the moment and will partner up with who we think will best serve the community in DSTA and be a great fit at McFadden Public Market.” – Leonard Chan, Owner
