A New Age for a Newport Brewery
As of April 2nd, 2018, Mario Marovich and the Lounge Group are the proud owners of the Newport Beach Brewing Company. The establishment – which first opened its doors to the public in 1995 – came onto the dining scene as the only brewery in Newport Beach. Located in the historic Cannery Village, Newport Beach Brewing Company has been serving loyal customers for twenty-three years.
The acquisition was announced at nine o’clock in the morning. The Lounge Group is a food and beverage consulting firm; they also own establishments such as The District Lounge, Malarky’s Irish Pub, & Stag Bar, among others. With the Newport Beach Brewing Company now in their ranks, the acquisition could bring new ideas and perspective to managing the restaurant & brewery. “Get ready for some great beer, food and a fresh new vibe,” Marovich, a partner of the Lounge Group, announced.
