April 23rd, Chef/Owner Alan Greeley of The Golden Truffle, became the proud recipient of the 2009 Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Community Spirit Award for his philanthropic work here in Orange County. He has been a progressivesupporter of many charities such as Share Our Selves, the Liver Foundation, the Kidney foundation, Taste of the Cure and most recently Cooking For A Cause to name just a few. In 2008, Alan and his restaurant, The Golden Truffle, were recognized as the 2008 National Philanthropy Day Outstanding Small Corporation of the Year. Kudos to Alan Greeley and The Golden Truffle for all of their charitable work.
