Produced in Irvine, CA, Choctal, a specialty food company featuring single-sourced chocolate and vanilla products, is re-launching the popular national brand after a four-year hiatus. Choctal’s ice cream, hailed by Gourmet Magazine’s Ruth Reichl as “the perfect chocolate ice cream, was widely available in stores across the country from its initial launch in 2007 through 2010. The revamped Choctal now operates under Chief Executive Officer, Michael Leb.
