Following the launch of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s new springtime beverage, the Tea Granita, the iconic West Coast brand announces a contest and exclusive meet-and-greet grand prize for a winner and three friends with award-winning Grammy artist, Zedd, a Russian-German electronic music producer and DJ.
From Monday, March 31 -until Sunday, April 13, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf encourages fans and followers to get a little silly by drumming up a simple jingle rhyming with ‘Ita, such as “I need a Granita” or “Life’s a little sweeta.” Those who post an Instagram video or tweet their “iNeedagranita” rhyme – “using the hashtag #iNeedaGranita – are automatically entered into the contest.
For inspiration, fans can sample the new Tea Granita, a premium iced tea blended beverage with delicious fruit flavors like caffeine-free Pear Berry and Passion Fruit, at a participating Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location. In addition to the in-store promotion, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will be rolling out their new Yumita Truck, which will be roving the streets of Los Angeles sampling Tea Granitas to curious customers to break up the afternoon doldrums. In addition to popping up at farmer’s markets, office buildings, and retail areas, the two-week sampling tour will be making stops at the following spots:
· Wednesday, April 2: USC (TBC), 11am – 1pm
· Friday, April 4: Abbott Kinney, 6 – 8pm
· Thursday, April 10: Amoeba Records, 6 – 8pm
· Saturday, April 12: Santa Monica, 12 – 2pm
