Costa Mesa 55 Tavern+Bowl celebrates Grand Opening this Thursday with Miracles For Kids Fundraiser.
Orange County nightlife and family fun alike have been elevated with the arrival of San Diego’s hippest boutique bowling, restaurant, and bar, Costa Mesa 55 Tavern+Bowl. Located in The Triangle, Tavern+Bowl is celebrating its grand opening on Thursday, April 10 from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a live DJ, giveaways, complimentary food, and drink specials. Additionally, a portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Miracles for Kids, an Orange County-based non-profit, whose mission is to improve the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Tavern+Bowl features 10 state-of-the-art bowling lanes paired with an advanced scoring system, which, among other capabilities, allows guests to post their scores on social media sites directly from their lane’s console. Adding to the fun are 26 large, flat-screen TVs, various live DJs performing Thursday through Sunday nights, and an airy dining room, of which the focal point is a sleek, bow tie-shaped bar. With 40 beers on draft, several varietals of wine, a dozen specialty cocktails, and a full gourmet menu, there’s an abundance to choose from at this interactive entertainment venue.
Some of the menu items include Grilled Oysters Kilpatrick glazed with decadent honey bourbon garlic butter and topped with savory bacon breadcrumbs; Filet Mignon Steak Tacos served with chimichurri-marinated grilled steak, avocado relish, and cotija cheese over corn tortillas; and a full rack of Tavern Baby Back Ribs grilled and glazed with Tavern+Bowl’s signature “beerbeque” sauce and served on a bed of fries. There are also vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and even Paleolithic options, all being produced in Tavern+Bowl’s scratch kitchen.
Tavern+Bowl is a family-friendly concept that originated in Downtown San Diego in 2007 and gained quick popularity with its hip yet unpretentious, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Since then, Tavern+Bowl has opened two additional locations in San Diego County and established itself as the industry leader with its exceptional food and beverages, outstanding customer service, and premier bowling features. Costa Mesa 55 Tavern+Bowl is the company’s first location to open outside of San Diego.
