Loteria Grill, the treasured Los Angeles regional Mexican eatery, officially opened on June 12th at The Original Farmers Market at Los Angeles International Airport’s Delta Terminal 5. Loteria Grill, which premiered their first establishment in 2002 at the beloved Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax, now allows travelers to enjoy the best of regional Mexican cuisine and specialty margaritas from a full-serviced bar before embarking on their journey. The opening of Loteria Grill at LAX marks the seventh Los Angeles location for the 12-year old restaurant group by executive chef and founder Jimmy Shaw, featuring a menu comprised of sauces and stews or gusisos brimming with the spice and sweetness of regional Mexico.

Patrons are invited to enjoy a selection of Loteria Grill highlighted menu items including Acapulco-Style Ceviche with red snapper, tomato and citrus, and Chile Serrano; the Summer Salad with fresh greens, cucumber, cherry tomato, avocado, red onion, feta cheese, pepitas, jicama, cilantro and lime vinaigrette; and Red Pozole-Pork and Hominy in a Chile with radish, cabbage, Mexican oregano, powdered Chile de Arbol, onion and cilantro. Signature Loteria tacos are available featuring Zucchini and Roasted Corn Succotash, Chicken in Mole Poblano, Roasted Yucatan Pull Pork, and Beef Tongue Stewed in Tomatillo Sauce.For the early morning diner, a selection of breakfast highlights include Chilaquiles served with black beans, queso fresco, crema Mexicana, onion and cilantro; and Huevos a la Mexicana with three eggs, scrambled with Chile Serrano, tomato and onion. For jetsetters looking to toast their journey, Loteria’s full- service bar offers a selection of freshly made margaritas, agua frescas, beer and wine.

In addition to Loteria Grill, travelers can enjoy a variety of Original Farmers Market concepts including Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market and Bistro, T&Y Bakery, Coffee Corner, Bennett’s Ice Cream, Magee’s Nuts, The Dog Bakery, Dragunara Spice Bazaar, and Magic Nut and Candy Bar. Also, a gourmet Farmers Market to-go station will be available with fresh sandwiches and salads.
